Fossilized Stegodon Stone Beads which are individually carved from fossilized Stegodon, an ancient animal from the Proboscidea family. These trunk-bearing mammal creatures inhabited areas near the Solo River in central Java. Unlike its more famous long-tusked cousins, the mammoths, the Stegodon’s tusks could grow to be almost as long as its entire body.
Napal Bone Beads are hand carved out of reclaimed cow bone from the mountainous regions of Nepal. These cow bone beads provide a livelihood for less privileged families in foreign countries who are given fair trade income for the beads they create.
African Turquoise Beads are actually a name given to turquoise colored jasper stones sourced from African mines.
Round Light Green Aventurine is a form of quartz and is considered to be the “Stone of Opportunity.”
