About:
The Turquoise Mountain Peak mine in Arizona was active in the 1960-70’s. Turquoise Mountain turquoise from that time is light-to-high blue with both webbed and non-webbed matrix. Even though this peak was part of the Kingman Mine, it is considered a “classic” mine in its own right because the turquoise is so different in appearance. This stone exhibits a beautiful range of color from pale blue to lime green in one piece that makes it a sought-after turquoise.
Native American History:
The production of Native American jewelry began thousands of years ago with stones, bones, coral, and shells. Natives turned these materials into wearable jewelry and traded them for other goods between tribes.
